It consists of a horizontal cylindrical tank
suitable to be buried.
Built with a double chamber with sealing and leak searching control
system. Inner chamber in high quality 4 mm. steel plate. Hermetic
sealing construction by means of electric bead welding of the bottom
pressed plates. External chamber built in high quality steel plate with
corrosion protection lining in fibreglass reinforced plastic. Welded
Metal eyebolts for the hoisting of the tank.
The overflow well complete with chequered steel plate closing lid, is
provided with internal hatchway consisting of bolted and sealed neck
flange.
The following are installed inside the hatchway:
-The loading cap complete with loading limiting device which interrupts
fuel flow when 90% of the tanks geometric capacity is reached (limiting
loading valve approved by the ministry at the Italian Centro Studi ed
Esperienze Anicendio).
- Nipple for vapours vent pipe.
- Nipples for fuel suction and overflow backflow pipe.
The following are also available : nipples for the installation of a
possible level indicator for signalling fuel stock and the installation
of a water presence indicator. Bolts for connecting tank and overflow
wells lid to grounding are foreseen together with the copper plate for
grounding the tank truck pinchcock. Pipes can be connected to the pipe
fittings by means of a side wall on the overflow well on which there is
a hole with suitable dimensions.
Tank construction is carried out according to rule n.73 dated 29707/1071
of the Ministry of Interns.
The hydrostatic test is carried out at a pressure greater than 1Kg/cm2.
The multiple valve is fitted on the fuel suction connection. The valve (
approved by the Ministry at the Italian Centro Studi ed Esperienze
Ambientali ), is complete with:
- Rapid closure interception device activated remotely by means of a
removable handle to be kept outside the premises.
- Fuel suction pipe
- Socket for the connection of the possible pneumatic fuel level
indicator
All the documents relevant to the pressure tests, the limiting loading
valve type test and the multiple valve type test are supplied for
approval by Fire Department.
